A Snapshot of Our Capabilities

I think the whole saying, “you’re never given more than you can handle” applies to life right now. Between keeping the business operational, homeschooling my two young sons, and ensuring that everything else keeps moving forward, I’d be remiss if I didn’t recognize the lessons in all of this. And with that said, if there are two things that I’ve learned during this pandemic, they are:

  1. Connection is the most important factor.
  2. Your home, and the design of it, is more important than ever. 

That’s why I wanted to take a few minutes to reach out and connect with you. In case you needed a reminder, we’re here for you! You can count on us! It’s been an absolute delight to work with you on the design of your homes for the last 12 years. Beyond marveling in the beautiful design of your homes, your relationships are what keep us going. You, our clients, are the soul of Maggie Griffin Design, and I want to thank you for that. 

As interior designers, we have known that the home is the most important environment in our lives for a long time. We’re just glad that the rest of the world is now on-board! Overnight, whether or not we were prepared or had the square footage, our homes turned into the destination for celebrating, resting, growing, working, teaching and learning, and everything else. We’ve learned a lot about how we live during these last seven weeks! And you can bet that we’ll be applying those lessons to the homes we design going forward. I do believe that interior design has changed (and changed us) for the better, and speaking on behalf of my team, we’re excited to bring it to life in a beautiful and intelligent way. 

But pandemic or no pandemic, the world spins madly on. And we know that your homes may need some love! So whether this time has left you with an urgent need for a home office, you’re found yourself finally ready to do that full-scale remodel of your home, you’ve decided to move forward in breaking ground on that summer house of your dreams, or you just need a little “fluff” for the season, we can do it! Here’s a list of what we can do to serve you and your families, now and into the future.

In-person design

From the initial consultation to installation, we’re ready to meet your design needs (and wants!) with our in-person design service. We’ll start by meeting in person to walk through your space and talk about your vision and goals. Then our team will get to work preparing pricing, mood boards, paint and lighting schedules, as well as gathering fabric and wall covering samples to present to you. After we get the green light from you, we will begin the process to bring your dream home to life. You can just sit back and relax!

E-design:

Following a similar process as in-person design, our e-design services are ideal for local and remote clients alike. Instead of physically touring your home, we’ll lean on FaceTime and Zoom calls and will leverage photographs and videos of your space instead. This will be followed by an initial consultation over the phone. We’ll then create the mood board and a plan for you to implement the design yourself. And we’ll handle ordering everything for you! Pieces typically arrive direct to your doorstep in 6-8 weeks. When it’s all ready to go, and you’re ready to go, we’ll be available to help you work through the installation process. While hiccups in interior design are inevitable, we want to make the process a breeze for you!

New builds and renovations:

There’s just something about working on a new build or renovation, where we’re able to have a hand in the project from the start. Enlisting our help from day one ensures that your dream home becomes a reality, as we’ll be at your side, supporting you in every stage of the process. And we do so much more than just selecting furnishings! We can help you select finishes including plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile selection, and appliances, and our process also includes interior selection, the proposal presentation, and installation, similar to our in-person service.

A MGD Fluff:

Arguably one of our most favorite services is what we like to call the MGD Fluff. Intended to refresh a room in your home for a new season, it’s the little service that packs a big punch. While our other services tend to be more intensive, our Fluff is all about the little pieces: rugs, throw pillows, light fixtures, and accessories, your core pieces remain the same. If you’re ready to make your #shelfie debut or want your space to be summer-ready, this one’s for you! A Fluff can be implemented quickly and affordably.
