The Atlanta Christmas House closed over the weekend, but people across the country were allowed a chance at grabbing a piece of the fabo merch inside! One Kings Lane hosted a sale on December 4th, and James sold most of the delicious pieces in his mudroom!
During install, he lent me the opportunity of styling the laundry area off the mudroom. I was tickled!
I had the idea of a woodsy feel…plates on the wall with turkeys mixed with baskets and a few little woodland creatures scattered about. So, I put paintbrush to paper and painted these sweet little guys for the space. And the coolest part? They all sold on OKL! I was pumped!
And here are a few peeks of the space. (For more on James’ incredible room, click here.)
The room already had gorgeous cabinets in pale blue gray and nice counter tops, and James chose Benjamin Moore’s Monroe Bisque for the walls. So, my job was easy – just a few accessories to convey the holiday season.
I had a few festively wrapped packages on the counter by a bowl of oranges and cloves.
Two lemon cypress trees flanked the window.
And a tea tray was tucked in a corner beneath my woodland paintings.
One wall had an antique fish platter between two baskets adorned with cotton and holly.
And the other large wall featured hunting scenes and turkey plates surrounding that beautiful platter.
It was a ball, as always! I love working with James and can’t wait for the ASO show house coming up in April!!!!
