Caroline Nix Gallery
In just a few short weeks (fingers crossed!!!), I will be moving into the new Maggie Griffin Design office space. Eeeek! And as many of you know I’ll be sharing the space with two of my best friends and fellow mom-preneurs, Jenn and Caroline.
Since I was a little girl, my mom and my grandmother took me to countless tours-of-homes and showhouses. Those early years were such a foundation for my career, my love for interiors, and now more so than ever I can see the value in that exposure. I believe that your home should tell a story. The story of where you’ve been, the things you’re interested in, and who you love the most, while incorporating design principles, using your favorite things and hosting the people you care about. Seeing the way other people design, decorate, and live is one of my favorite things in the world to do. If I am lucky enough to help you shape your house into the home of your dreams, then I am a lucky girl.
Since starting my blog almost 10 years ago, it has been such fun to share my client’s homes, the projects that my husband and I have embarked upon, and my favorite elements of design. Today, I am sharing with you all the beautiful interiors of my friend Caroline, who will be sharing office space with me under Caroline Nix Gallery.
Since I have known her, Caroline has always loved artwork…..collecting unusual pieces in her own home, following emerging artists, and seeking the gem amongst the every-day. Caroline‘s home, that she shares with her two children and husband, is such a reflection of them as a family. It’s bright, and open, and is very “Caroline.” Her style is clean, a tad minimalistic, and with a few mid-century touches. I joke with her that her house is so clean, I can eat off of her floors when I am there! She has a soothing color palette of white, cream and grey with pops of black and gold. Since we used color very sparingly in most of her house, I love that we swathed her daughter’s beautiful room in shades of pink. I am so grateful that I get to call her “friend” and that today she lets you all see a peek into her beautiful home!
