The next space on the list was the powder room – this is the only bath on the main level, and since this cute little family as well as their guests use this one the most, it needed to be more special. Here’s the BEFORE:
– walls needed lightening
– mirror needs replacing
– a colorful rug is needed too
The walls are now a pale bluish gray – much lighter and brighter. I recommended painting the walls and ceiling all the same color to really feel like the small space is larger than it appears.
A bright rug was brought in for added color!
And a classic bamboo shelf was placed over the potty to hold a few accessories and other essentials.
Bright artwork in simple white frames mimic the happy feel of the powder room, and bring in the color from the family room.
Also on the list: Painting the hallway and handrail to make it feel a bit more modern.
New rugs were needed in a maja way
A pretty gray is now on the walls, the handrails are painted black, and precious family photos now hang.
Oh, and a super fun indoor/outdoor rug lays on the floor – to add some color and to withstand heavy traffic from the little ones and other guests too.
Stay tuned for a precious little girl’s room soon!
