Henry's 3rd Birthday: A Paw Patrol Party

For the past 3 years, we have celebrated our Henry's birthday a bit early, over Mother's Day weekend when we are at home visiting family. I love being able to see my hometown friends, and to get our children together.

Henry's first birthday party at my parents' house is here: http://www.maggiegriffindesign.com/2014/06/henrys-1st-birthday-party-animals.html

And our Gainesville party is here: http://www.maggiegriffindesign.com/2014/06/henrys-radio-flyer-party.html

And his second is here: http://www.maggiegriffindesign.com/2015/06/my-henry-turns-2.html

My Henry loves Paw Patrol, so a Rocky-Chase-Marshall-Zuma party seemed apropos!

He loves our little friend Kennedy - she sweetly obliges when he squeezes her. :)

Mrs. Jan McCord made Henry's "red" cake. A shared favorite of both mommy and Henry! It think its just precious! She always does a beautiful job in helping us celebrate all of life's occasions.

My sweet friend Linsey Freeman did these adorable Paw Patrol cookies that are just as delicious as they are pretty! Henry thought the Marshall faces were so fun to eat!

As usual, Henry ended up in the pool! And a few of the other kids did too. ;) He has brought more light and joy to our lives that we ever knew he could. David and I look at him and listen to him every day and are so thankful for our blessing. He's so smart, and kind, and head-strong, and we love him so much it hurts!

A Mother's Day Celebration: Baby C is on the Way!

In late July, our preciousperfectgiftfromGod nephew arrived!
Master Harris Everton Coody came into the world on July 28th, and I am so thankful for the gift of him. To see my brother and his wife become parents made my heart feel like it was going to explode, and I simply can't get enough of that baby!

Waaayyy earlier this summer, we had them a baby celebration over Mother's Day weekend, and I wanted to share the pretty images from the luncheon at my parents' beautiful house.

Baby Harris, we love you so much more than we can say! And are SO happy you are here!

A Delightful Dwelling II

Continued from last week (see previous post), here are the bedroom spaces of the beautiful house I have had the pleasure of refreshing for these darling clients. With a growing family, and almost-5 grandchildren, these grandparents wanted spaces where their family could come and stay. If I were a guest here, it sure would take a lot for me to leave!

We created 4 bedroom spaces where their children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends can stay for holidays, weekends, and family celebrations. I wish I had "before" photos of the rooms, but just picture drab white boxes and you get the general idea. ;)

ps. as always, many thanks to Alexandra Haynes for the gorgeous images!
